About
Mobilia Architects is a Budapest-based architecture and interior design studio, devoted to consistently delivering clean, innovative solutions.
As both an architecture and design team, we integrate form and function, crafting buildings and interiors where aesthetics and purpose are deeply intertwined. With the attitude founder András Zakariás has instilled in shaping the studio’s philosophy since 1985, we have consistently been at the forefront of applying cutting-edge architectural thinking and technological advancements in Hungary.
Every day we create architectural quality based on clear thinking, experience and human values. This assures sustainable and aesthetic solutions with lasting value for clients and society.
Vision, implementation
We do not shy away from challenges to implement a good concept. We were among the first to apply many forward-looking architectural solutions and the technology required for them in Hungary.
So was our completely frameless, wire-suspended glass box built with point-grip glass technology at the MVM headquarters, the first of its kind in Hungary.
In our key projects, we work as lead architects with our in-house design team. This allows for organized and efficient workflow. Our approach places a strong emphasis on aligning design with functionality.
We strive to accurately plan and realize our clients’ visions, supporting them throughout this collaborative process with our architectural and aesthetic expertise.
We also ensure the flawless fulfillment of client requirements by closely overseeing every step of the construction process.

Approach
We represent a clear architectural attitude. Whether designing exposed concrete walls or point-fixed glass for a modern public building, or working on the authentic restoration of buildings over a hundred years old, such as the Geszti, Rátóti, and Hédervári castles, our approach remains consistent.
“We design and construct buildings based on clean concept, aligned with the spirit of the place,
actually for sharply different scales and functions.”
